In between tongues I
am the venomous lumpsucker
baying at the moon;
teeth like fig pulp, blood like salt,
flowers wilt in bloom.
Hear my skin flaps usher God
watch the water shudder,
part the seas with trembling
eye, caress my tenderest blubber.
